MUMBAI:  There are people in the world who might not know the meaning of ‘K-pop’ and would still know BTS. The audience is aware of how the band has debuted and made a loyal fan base for themselves and even got the identity of K-pop genre ahead. The group has taken a break from music right now but they are still the most famous K-pop boy-band. BTS have attained 26 Guinness World Records which includes most Twitter engagements, most viewed music videos on Youtube in 24hrs and many more.

The 6-member group consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. BTS started their journey officially on June 12, 2013 and is very much loved for its lyrics, high-energy performance and unique fashion sense.

Lately, every member of BTS has been achieving a milestone but things are a little tricky for SUGA it seems. Earlier we had reported how he was under the influence when he fell of his electric scooter in the middle of the night.

After the matter got a lot of attention, Big Hit Music penned an apology letter, wherein they explained the whole situation and apologised for SUGA’s behaviour and/carelessness.

SUGA got drunk and then left the spot on an electric scooter with a helmet on but after travelling 500 meters when he was trying to park, he fell and was given a ticket and license revocation as a result of a sobriety test by police officers who were nearby.

Previously a civic group publicly demanded an investigation amid SUGA’s ongoing DUI scandal. SUGA is currently facing backlash over the DUI scandal and was investigated by police. Later, as the matter started to pick up more attention, we came to know about the investigation by Korea’s Military Manpower Administration, the military governance office who looked into SUGA’s time as a social worker.

The other day, we reported that according to the Seoul’s Western District Prosecution Office, SUGA has been served with a summary indictment, which is less serious compared to a formal indictment and will mostly result in a fine.

Earlier today, according to reports, BTS' SUGA will have to pay a hefty fine of ₩15.0 million KRW (about $11,200 USD/9,40,704.09 INR) for driving under the influence, as sentenced by the Seoul’s Western District Court, earlier today.
