The actress began her career with the Colors Bangla program 'E Amar Gurudakshina'. Most importantly, Debattama made her debut from the Hindi television show, 'Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein', which aired on Sony TV. Later on, she played the lead role of 'Anokhi Bhalla' in the Star Plus series 'Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani' opposite Karanvir Sharma.
