MUMBAI: Hairstyles are forever one of the primary appeal factors an individual loves flaunting and endorsing before the public.
Initially, this domain was dominated by the ladies. However, men are no more behind in the league of flaunting innumerable hairstyles that simply pump up their hunk factor!
Since the last decade, we've witnessed the glorification of men with long hair in the entertainment industries of both television and Bollywood. Initially, long hair looks for men were appointed to actors portraying vamp characters on-screen. The trend kind of continues even today, however, with a much broader outlook of letting male protagonists flaunt their long tresses as well.
By choice, many TV and Bolly actors prefer maintaining long hair as well, while some eventually chop them off (as was seen for John Abraham, Farhan Akhtar, etc.).
Now, considering extreme and limited situations like that of a nationwide lockdown ft. 2020 and 2021, with all shops and parlours being shut-down for over months, boys and men are left with no other option other than of growing their hair. While some are counting the days remaining for the next Unlock, others are enjoying their growing hair and are trying out different hairstyles and new looks.

With the summer and monsoons taking over the entire country, both men and women with long hair are facing various problems related to hair loss, dampening for sweat, split ends, stickiness, etc. These conditions deteriorate hair maintenance and it can't be left loose even over just an hour. Hence, individuals are resorting to the basic ponytails for both endorsing a new look and comfort simultaneously.
To grab quick influential looks, check out telly actors and dappers Parth Samthaan, Shaheer Sheikh, Vishal Aditya Singh, Rajat Tokas, Arpit Ranka, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Karan Patel, Karan Singh Grover and lastly, Barun Sobti; who have flaunted their single ponytailed look with ease.

Parth's look is all about comfortable beach-vibes herein.
2. Shaheer Sheikh
[[{"fid":"15825649","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"2":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"2"}}]]
Shaheer's look herein gives us a sporty kind of look, wherein guys can try putting up a high half-ponytail right before heading out for a cycling/ trekking session. This look provides a lot of comfort to the forehead.
[[{"fid":"15825659","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"3":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"3"}}]]
Instead of opting for a neat back-brushed look while tying your ponytail, one can opt for flaunting their side-partitioned fringes as well for a completely new makeover.
4. Rajat Tokas
[[{"fid":"15825669","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"4":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"4"}}]]
Rajat's formal dapper look is being extra-complimented by his neatly back-brushed ponytail. Doesn't his royal look reminds that of typical handsome vampires of the popular fictional series?
5. Arpit Ranka
[[{"fid":"15825679","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"5":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":302,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"5"}}]]
Arpit looks almost like the Indian version of Hollywood actor Jason Momoa in this picture, especially with that ponytail!
6. Sumedh Mudgalkar
[[{"fid":"15825689","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"6":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"6"}}]]
For also playing mythological characters, actors are suggested of maintaining shoulder-length tresses and Sumedh's look in long curly hair as Lord Krishna in the popular mythological show RadhaKrishn is on-point. At times when there's no need to flaunt his open tresses, he ties them up as high ponies for ultimate ease.
7. Siddharth Nigam
[[{"fid":"15825699","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"7":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"7"}}]]
The Aladdin fame is also a popular style icon when it comes to endorsing experimentation looks and he doesn't succumb to anything minimalist, even when it comes to the management of his growing hair. His ponytail looks simple but just like a sportsperson, the tresses of his central scalp is longer than those on his side-scalps. This concept of selective growing of hair is pretty awesome. Also, it adds to hair comfort.
8. Karan Patel
[[{"fid":"15825709","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"8":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"8"}}]]
At an event, telly actor Karan Patel once tried imitating Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's dapper look in ethno-western formals and especially, his signature low-ponytail look. Karan's overall ensemble was such that he was almost close to being mistaken for SRK himself!
9. Karan Singh Grover
[[{"fid":"15825739","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"9":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":646,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"9"}}]]
Telly hunk KSG has always been the hunk-boss of the Hindi entertainment industry. Karan's half ponytailed look is again signifying towards the 'physically draining activity-look', but this time, it's more of a gym-look. One can tie their long hair this way for hitting the gym.
10. Barun Sobti
[[{"fid":"15825749","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"10":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":528,"width":443,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"10"}}]]
The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame was always spotted and loved by girls in his short-haired dapper look, such that visualising him of all in long hair was not even the part of our plan. However, who would've known that the actor can also stun his fans (especially the ladies) in a fancy hairstyle, that involves a top-knot ponytail! This look is the living testimony of the fact that he can totally nail it in different looks and hairstyles, without having to worry about losing his fanbase.
