Seventeen’s 12th Mini Album Spill The Feels Out Now

MUMBAI: K-pop icon SEVENTEEN dropped their 12th Mini Album SPILL THE FEELS today, opening doors to a wider audience with deepened honesty and authenticity instilled in every track.

Since their debut, the 13-piece act has persistently shared positive energy with the world, manifesting their stories through self-produced music. SPILL THE FEELS—an anagram of ‘I FELT HELPLESS’—reflects the band’s transformative journey, where moments of helplessness and loneliness are turned into the dawn of a brighter future through the honest expression of emotions. Now standing as one of the most influential voices in the global music scene, SEVENTEEN extends an invitation to everyone experiencing the modern-day struggles to ‘spill’ unseen and unsaid feelings, by trusting and confiding in each other.

Ahead of its official release, the mini album has recorded over 3.4 million copies in pre-orders, adding to the group’s total album sales of 5.32 million in just the first half of the year. This continues SEVENTEEN’s record-breaking streak after extraordinary accolades such as being recognized with the ‘Biggest-selling global album in 2023’ by IFPI and having the two best-selling albums in K-pop history.

The release’s lead single “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)” is a R&B/Hip-hop track layered with groovy melodies. The song explores the universal theme of ‘love’ in juxtaposition with ‘money’ and ‘fame’, values juggled in modern life. Through the song, SEVENTEEN declares ‘what I need is only you,’ articulating the band’s unwavering love for ‘you’ without a hint of hesitation in ‘spilling’ their feelings. The accompanying music video follows through each member’s unique perspective and storyline to confronting the profound emotion of love, which ultimately converge on the shared realization that the essence of love lies in honest expression.

Including the lead single, the mini album comprises a total of 6 songs—an upbeat house track "Eyes on you," the Miami bass driven "1 TO 13," the Vocal Unit’s sweet ballad "Candy," the Performance Unit’s neuro-disco "Rain," and the Hip-hop Unit’s powerful Rage track "Water"—showcasing the 13-piece act’s dynamic soundscape.

Following the album release, SEVENTEEN is set to bring their music back to the global stage. Their highly anticipated ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR’ kicked off October 12 with two sold-out shows at GOYANG STADIUM in Korea and will see them make their way to 13 cities across the U.S., Japan and Asia, starting later this month through to next year.
