Shaleen Malhotra, who is better known as ACP Arjun from Star Plus’ Arjun has impressed everyone with his razor-sharp attitude and fine performance. Last seen as the captain of Pune Anmol Ratan in Sony TV’s Box Cricket League, Shaleen, is a real fitness freak. In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, he shares his fitness mantras.

Fitness mantra…

Eat healthy and exercise well.

Abs are necessary?

No.

Current workout routine?

5 times a week at least 2 hours and 2 days rest is necessary.

Diet chart?

My diet keeps on changing but I avoid indulging in sweets and rice.

Ever taken supplement to lose or gain weight?

I think the biggest achievement is when you work hard to improve your health. I have never taken any supplement.

What would you recommend for a quick 20- to 30-minute workout?

If you want to avoid cardio you can run or jog this will help you to stay fit.

How do you stay motivated?

I look myself in the mirror and stay motivated.

What is your greatest fitness achievement so far?

8 pack abs.

How much do you weigh right now?

73kg.

Your cheat food?

Chicken cutlets with sweet onion barbecue sauce.

Which body part are you proud of and why?

I am proud of my back and shoulder.

What time do work out?

Whenever I get time I go so there is no fixed time.

Do you ogle at hot bods in the gym?

The time I go in the gym there are no hot bods present. 

Gym attire?

Track pants and a t shirt.
