Abki Baar Modi sarkar is my favourite meme – Alia Bhatt

A lot has been said about Alia Bhatt’s shockingly poor general knowledge awareness. It all started when she got answers to certain questions wrong on Koffee with Karan. When asked to name the President of India, Alia said it's Prithviraj Chavan, who’s the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The aftermath was nasty as memes about Alia vent viral with jokes trending on all major social networking site. But the girl herself remains unmoved and is all cool about it. When asked at Highway’s DVD launch today of what she felt about all the memes doing the rounds on the internet, Alia said, “I am the first person to laugh at myself. I know jokes about me are doing the rounds on Twitter and Facebook. It is because they think I am dumb. But I would rather be dumb than pretend to be intelligent." When asked to name her favourite meme among the many that are floating around, Alia nonchalantly replied, “ My favourite one is Abki Baar….”evoking rapturous applause from the audience. Well, for the uninitiated, the meme goes something like this. Interview to Alia – What’s the first name of Modi. Alia – Ab Ki Baar. We admire Alia for taking all these jokes with a pinch of salt.
