MUMBAI: Debutant Actor Yuvraj Vijan, who recently made his debut in Jigra alongside Alia Bhat and Vedang Raina opened up about his experience working alongside Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt. In the film, Yuvraj plays the role of Tony Bhatia, and Alia portrays Satya, a character who plays a crucial role in rescuing Vijan’s character, Tony, from prison, alongside her brother Ankur (played by Vedang Raina).
For Yuvraj, sharing screen space with someone as accomplished as Alia was a dream come true. “My experience working with Alia ma’am was brilliant,” he said. “Just being on set with someone of her stature was huge, especially in my debut project. It was a dream come true for me.”
Vijan, who portrays a pivotal role in the film, was particularly impressed by Alia’s work ethic. He shared how, while the rest of the cast needed time to get into character, Alia could seamlessly switch into her role in an instant. “She’s so polished as an actor. She could just switch on and be there in a moment. That’s something I hope to emulate one day,” he added.
Despite her immense stardom, Alia’s humility and kindness on set left a lasting impact on Yuvraj. “Despite being the superstar, on or off the set, she ensures that even a newcomer like me feels comfortable and at ease.." he said. This supportive environment, Vijan believes, helped him perform better alongside her.
The actor also praised Alia for her character off-screen, calling her “amazing as a person” and noting how her professionalism, combined with her warmth, made the experience even more special.
With Jigra marking his industry debut, Yuvraj Vijan embarks on an exciting journey ahead. His collaboration with Alia Bhatt, director Vasan Bala, and producer Dharma Productions has given him an exposure many can only dream of. This association with such a prestigious banner sets the stage for a promising career, both on and off-screen, and fans are eager to see more of his talent unfold in the years to come.
