MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar made his feature film debut in 2019 under the direction of Jagan Shakti, and his film Mission Mangal became a massive blockbuster at the Indian box office. Acclaimed by both reviewers and viewers, the movie is considered as one of Akshay Kumar's best works to date. Later, the director collaborated with Pooja Entertainment to work on an action thriller starring Tiger Shroff. The project has been scrapped after around 30 days of filming. And now, Jagan Shakti and Ajay Devgn are in talks for a feature film, as we have exclusively learned.

Sources close to the development claim that Jagan Shakti and Ajay Devgn have met several times in recent months to talk about a potential partnership. “Ajay is excited by the idea pitched to him by Jagan Shakti and is looking forward to the collaboration. The genre and other details are not known yet, but it's a world that has excited Ajay. They are discussing and figuring out the logistics at the moment,” revealed a source.
Ajay Devgn will produce the movie under the banner of Devgn Films. According to the source, "“If everything goes as planned, Ajay will start shooting for the Jagan Shakti directorial by early 2025" Right now, Ajay Devgn is one of B-Town's busiest actors. Although Ajay is about to end up with the Cop Universe movie Singham Again, which is helmed by Rohit Shetty, he has De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardar 2 filming starting in June 2024.
Ajay has agreed to appear in both the Rohit Shetty comedy Golmaal 5 and the Dhamaal 4 helmed by Indra Kumar; however, the timelines will be locked once the two directors have a script in place.
