MUMBAI: Recently, we got to watch Kesari and The Diplomat and both the movies did well with the audience praising both John Abraham and Akshay Kumar’s performances. A lot of people loved Akshay Kumar and John Abraham together in movies and one of the movies that people cannot get out of their mind is Garam Masala where people laughed and fell off their seat watching Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s humorous performance.
Garam Masala was a 2005 movie directed by Priyadarshan (a director who numerous comedy hits). Along with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, the movie also starred Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Rimi Sen, Manoj Joshi and Asrani. We cannot forget the three very beautiful actresses around the movie revolved…Akshay Kumar’s character revolved and they are Neetu Chandra, Nargis Bagheri and Daisy Bopanna. These three actresses played the role of airhostesses and kept the audience hooked until the very end.
With all the confusion and chaos that Mac (played by Akshay Kumar) tried to manage and failed, with all opportunities that Sam (played by John Abraham) tried to take and learnt a harsh lesson and with all the arrangements that Mambo (played by Paresh Rawal) tried to manage and got tired, there came a hilarious and well-deserving conclusion to the movie which left the audience satisfied.
The fun is not over. As per reports, Abhishek Sharma, the director of Tere Bina Laden and Parmanu, is in the process of writing a two-hero comedy movie which will belong to the Garam Masala genre. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are aware that there is a movie as such in the development and once the screenplay is complete, Abhishek Sharma will approach Akshay Kumar and John Abraham for it.
The question that arises - will this be Garam Masala 2 or will it arrive with a different title?
