Akshay Kumar ropes in Shiv Pandit for a three-film deal

Newcomer Shiv Pandit has signed a three-film deal with Akshay Kumar. The actor was noticed for his brilliant performance in Shaitan. It is said that so impressed was Akshay with Shiv's performance in the Bejoy Nambiar helmed film that he immediately called him for an audition for his forthcoming project Boss. The actor-producer thought that Shiv would perfectly fit the character in Boss. After the audition, the actor-producer personally met Shiv and offered him a three-film deal. Shiv, who will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay, will be paired opposite Aditi Rao Hydari. Incidentally, Boss would be Shiv’s fifth film. Before Shaitan, the actor featured in films like The Private Life Of Albert Pinto (2008) and The Other Woman (2008) and later after being noticed in Shaitan, he did a Tamil film Leelai (2012). Produced by Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, Akshay’s Cape of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions, Boss is being directed by Anthony D'Souza. The film is scheduled to release this October (2013).
