MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar is one Bollywood actor who has a huge fan following. His disciplined lifestyle and dedication towards work inspire his fans.
The actor tries his best to wrap up the shoot of a film on time. He is always punctual. Good Newwz director Raj Mehta said that he considers himself lucky to have Akshay in the movie. He said that despite having a back injury, Akki did not postpone the shoot of a promotional song. Director Raj Mehta said to Mid Day that Akshay was also running a fever on the night before the shoot. They weren't expecting him to show up, but surprisingly, he did and even managed to pull off the choreography set by Bosco.
He further said that as soon as he announced cut, the director could see that Akshay Kumar was still in pain. He had heard numerous stories of his professionalism over his 25-year career, but to witness it first-hand was amazing. A source had informed that Akshay had sustained a back injury a few months ago, and it was triggered during a workout session. The team deployed a physiotherapist on set. Akshay completed the shoot before the schedule. Akshay completed the shoot on time and did not postpone it due to his injury because allotting another date suitable for all co-stars would have been difficult.
Speaking about Good Newwz, the film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, is all set to hit the theatres on 27 December 2019.
