The 'Khiladi' of Bollywood had faced backlash when he was a part of a tobacco brand with Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan. He was trolled badly for being a part of the pan masala brand. The actor in his apology tweet had mentioned that the money he had received was donated. His tweet read, "I am sorry. I would like to apologise to you, all my fans and well-wishers. Your reaction over the past few days has deeply affected me. While I have not and will not endorse tobacco, I respect the outpouring of your feelings in light of my association with Vimal Elaichi. With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause".

The actor during a press event had compared his shooting and training days for Sultan to the plight of a raped woman. Reportedly, the actor was later apologetic for his comment. His father Salim Khan had apologised for the comment made by his son. "Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong, the simile, example and the context. The intention was not wrong", read his tweet.
Rashmika Mandanna
The South Indian beauty was seen in an underwear ad with Vicky Kaushal. She was seen drooling over Vicky's underwear strap and was seen playing the role of a yoga teacher. Vicky was shown to be a student. Reportedly, the team of the actress had to issue an apology for the ad.
Ranveer Singh
The actor was slammed for his Jack & Jones ad where he was seen lifting a woman and saying 'Don't hold back. Take your work home'. Fans of the actor found it sexist. "It was important to give the brand the creative freedom while designing the campaign but I guess we got it wrong on one of those billboards. I am sorry this happened but it is a thing of past. We rectified it immediately by having the hoarding taken down as early as possible from over 30 cities overnight", the star had clarified in an apology statement.

The 'Saathiyaa' actor had shared a meme that had his ex-flame Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. The meme also had Ash's former ex Salman Khan. The meme was a political dig and did not gel well. The actor had to tweet, "Sometimes, what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls. I can’t even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever,” Vivek Oberoi tweeted. “Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies.. tweet deleted".
