MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt is set to star in a YRF Spy Universe movie is no secret. The actress will reportedly start filming the movie in July of this year, even though everyone is excitedly awaiting it. According to the popular news portal, Alia will train intensively at the YRF Andheri studios in Mumbai, where she will also get ready for her action scenes in the film.

According to reports, the film's producers will ensure that the Mumbai filming schedule is "heavily guarded" to prevent any photos or recordings from the sets from being released. During the Mumbai shoot, Sharvari Wagh will also be collaborating with Alia. It is their first time collaborating on the movie.

“Shiv Rawail has slotted several fight sequences for the first leg. After her introduction scene, Alia will move on to another massive action set-piece that will see her and Sharvari join forces. Adi will ensure that the Mumbai shoot is conducted with a limited crew and is heavily guarded so that details aren’t leaked,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.

The insider also revealed that after wrapping up their shoot in Mumbai, Alia and Sharvari will head to the UK for the film’s shoot, where they will also be joined by Anil Kapoor.

Alia Bhatt’s standalone YRF Spy Universe film was confirmed earlier this year when Yash Raj Films’ CEO Akshaye Widhani said, “As one of the most prized IPs, we take a lot of pride in it. So there’s a lot of stuff that’s going to come in the spy universe. We’re going to see more and more films getting made under it. But, of course, not going to share everything here. We will talk about it at a more opportune time. For now, I can say that Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film.”

Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have also appeared in YRF Spy Universe films before Alia and Sharvari. In the well-known Tiger franchise, Katrina portrayed an ISI agent named Zoya, while Deepika portrayed an ISI spy named Rubina in the Shah Rukh Khan film Pathaan. Recently, Kiara Advani joined Spy Universe as well. She'll be in the Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan-led movie War 2.

Alia Bhatt just finished filming Jigra, which will soon be seen as well. Later this year, Vedang Raina will also be starring in the movie. In addition, Alia is working on Jee Le Zara, directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
