Anu Menon to helm PNC's O Womaniya

Rangita Nandy, of Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC), has signed Anu Menon, better known for her Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari-starrer London Paris New York to helm a film titled O Womaniya! The film, said to be inspired from the Hollywood film Thelma & Louise is about two girlfriends and how they go insane during a journey on which they embark. Confirming that the film is an inspiration, a source at PNC said, “The film is indeed inspired by Thelma & Louise.” Now, it is being rumoured that Nandy and Menon are toying with the idea of casting Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra to play the leading ladies in the film. We’re also told that Sonam Kapoor was earlier approached to play one of the characters but the actress refused to be part of this film citing date problems.
