MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding festivities kicked off on November 12, 2018. Two functions took place on the 12th: a traditional Konkani ceremony called Phool Muddi and the engagement ceremony. The couple exchanged rings in the presence of 40 people. This was followed by a formal sit-down dinner with their closest friends and immediate family members. Deepika donned a white dress, whereas Ranveer Singh opted for a black suit.
The couple’s family broke into a jig, and Deepika and Ranveer set the dance floor on fire at the sit-down dinner. They danced together with their families, as per media reports. Ranveer and Deepika reached the CastaDiva Resort over the weekend. They welcomed the guests personally and looked stunning.
The couple thanked everyone for being part of the special occasion. The guests were categorically requested not to share any pictures from the functions.
