Bhooth Bangla: Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani join Akshay Kumar starrer in the Priyadarshan directorial

MUMBAI:  Actors Paresh Rawal, Asrani, and Rajpal Yadav will be featured in the upcoming horror comedy "Bhoot Bangla" directed by Priyadarshan, starring opposite actor Akshay Kumar.

In a funny comedy of errors, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani star alongside Akshay Kumar, according to a statement. This much awaited movie promises an emotional rollercoaster by combining humor with a scary twist.

Akshay and Paresh have worked previously in films like "Hera Pheri", "Phir Hera Pheri" and "Garam Masala". The "Khiladi" star shared screen space with Rajpal in "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" and "Bhagam Bhag".

On September 9, Akshay celebrated his 57th birthday by revealing that he will be working with filmmaker Priyadarshan on a project again after a 14-year break.

Akshay posted the movie's motion poster on X, the platform that was once known as Twitter. In the picture, Akshay was seen carrying a bowl on his shoulder that contained a black cat.

Akshay shared the first look of Bhooth Bangla on his birthday (9th September) which read, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of 'Bhooth Bangla'! I'm beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years.”

He added, “This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can't wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!”
