MUMBAI: Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to his Twitter account, he broke the news to the world, mentioning he had been shifted to the hospital. In his tweet he also confirmed his family members and his staff would be undergoing the required medical tests. Adding to it he also requested the people whom he met in the last 10 days to get themselves tested. Big B had been at home ever since the lockdown had begun was fulfilling his work commitments from the confines of his home.
The list includes shooting for promotional content for his now released film, Gulabo Sitabo, public awareness video for COVID-19, upcoming TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, a multi-starrer short film Family and also dubbing for one of his projects. In the month of March he shot for the video creating awareness about the ongoing pandemic, and simple ways and means to curtail it. The video was shot in both English and Hindi by him at his residence. Next was for his short film, Family, which starred Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh and more.
In the month of May, he shot for the promo of KBC, under the guidance of the Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari. Followed by reports in Hindustan Times, he was also recorded for his work commitment at his office, Janak, which is next to his residence some 10 days ago.
