Bigg Boss fame Mandana Karimi shuts down speculations that she has coronavirus

Mandana Karimi took to social media to clarify that she isn’t infected with coronavirus.

MUMBAI: Mandana Karimi, who was seen in Bigg Boss 9, is an active social media user. She regularly shares posts to remain in touch with her fans and followers. She often goes live on Instagram to interact with her fans. Just a few days ago, she held a live session with Karanvir Bohra. Apart from that, she has also been sharing pictures of herself, and giving a glimpse into her life amid lockdown. However, recently she had concerned fans asking her if she has Coronavirus. Now, dismissing these speculations, she went live and clarified that she isn’t infected with coronavirus, instead she has an eye infection.

Speaking in her live video, Mandana said, “The reason I came live is that some of you sent me messages of concern, asking if I have got coronavirus and what is happening. Thank you so much for your concern. No, I haven’t got coronavirus. I just have an eye infection, which I am taking care of, with my doctor.” She then asked people to educate themselves before making such assumptions without really knowing about the symptoms of a disease or sickness.

“Guys, educate yourselves, before making any suggestions to anyone. When you don’t even know about the symptoms of any sort of sickness, you can’t really be a doctor and you can’t be making assumptions,” she said.

Mandana Karimi let her fans know that the eye infection happened probably because she touched her eye with her hand while cleaning the house. “Make sure you are careful because this can happen to you. We keep using hand sanitizers, even at home. It has probably contacted my eye and that is why this has happened,” she said.
