Case filed against Vishal Dadlani over controversial tweet

When singer-composer Vishal Dadlani tweeted against Digambar Jain guru Tarun Sagar for making a speech naked in Haryana Assembly, a leading daily has reported.

Since Tarun Sagar belongs to the Digambar sect of Jainism, who don't wear clothes as a part of their religious practice, Vishal apparently mocked him for his appearance, the daily added.

His enraged followers filed a complaint against him and a case has been registered against Vishal in the Shahdara police station, the site added.

The power-packed singer-composer not just apologised to the Jain community, but also broke all ties from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and declared his wish to quit in politics on his micro-blogging site, the daily added.

Delhi CM and AAP member Arvind Kejriwal tried to come his star member’s resuce as well, but that didn’t stop the community members from dragging Vishal into a legal soup, the site stated further.
