Check out what Vikrant Massey Was Concerned About While Shooting Intimate Scenes With Bhumi Pednekar
MUMBAI: Released on Netflix Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare starring Bhumi Pednekar, Konkana Sen Sharma, Kubbra Sait and Vikrant Massey was loved by the fans and the audiences all over and got mixed reviews all over. Vikrant, like always, is gathering accolades for playing a not-so-good character in the film. There are some intimate scenes too between Vikrant and Bhumi. Over this, in his latest interview with Hindustan Times, Vikrant opened up on shooting the intimate scenes and what worried him the most.
He boasted about the director Alankrita Srivastava and stated that she knows exactly what she wants from an actor. He was quoted saying, "The beauty of working on Alankrita’s sets is that she knows what she wants. As an actor you are hired to enact those things and if you can enhance it then great. My priority is to make sure that the woman on the opposite side is comfortable. There are 7-8 people on sets who are watching you. These are very intimate, private moments, you are entering into someone’s private space.”
He then stated that it was his beard that concerned him the most while shooting intimate scenes with Bhumi. Vikrant said. “The only thing I was concerned about was my beard scratching her face. Trim karke I would get close to her, it would happen that she would have rashes on her neck and on her cheeks. So that’s good. Physical comfort was not an issue. These were the little things, which is a great sign."
