Om Shanti Om actress’ 10-year-old Malayalam TV commercials. Yes, you read that right! Dimple beauty’s old TV ads, which she had shot for almost 10-year-back, are now doing the rounds on the Internet. The first sari ad sees Deepika being a working modern woman who knows her traditional values like removing footwear during an arti in office; she wears a strappy dress to a party but refrains from hugging a stranger and greets him with a Namaste instead.
Seeing Deepika Padukone’s culture, a boy falls in love with her and arrives at her doorsteps to ask for her hand for marriage. The second ad of the same sari brand sees her life post-marriage. In both the ads, Deepika Padukone looks gracious and ethereal wearing the saree. However, the ads are in the Malayalam language, but the storyline is easy to understand.
