Despite ill-health, Shah Rukh Khan attends Jackpot's premiere

There’s a saying in the film industry that ‘A star is a star because of his relationships and not for his stardom’. And that is exactly what happened when young turk Sachiin Joshi called over good friend Shah Rukh Khan to grace the premiere of his film Jackpot. And despite his ill-health the Chennai Express star made it to the event. The super star later said that he would like to watch the entire film at Mannat. "If director Kaizad Gustad is okay with it," he quipped. And Kaizad was only too delighted to oblige. Later the actor came out with a statement that read, “I did ask Sachiin to act in my film, but he wanted to work on his own independent films and I respect that decision.” Besides the principal stars of the film Sunny Leone and Sachiin Joshi, the star-studded premiere was attended by Sohail Khan, Sameer Ali Khan, Sudhir Mishra, Bunty Walia, Urvashi Sharma Joshi (Sachin’s wife), Sucheta Sharma and Akbar Khan among many others.
