MUMBAI: Devang Bhavsar, the director of "Blackout," has praised Vikrant Massey, calling the actor a "director's delight" and pointing out that the actor brings a lot of work and preparation to the sets.

During the filming of Bhavsar's crime thriller comedy, the director revealed that he gained a lot of knowledge from Vikrant.
He said,"Vikrant was very professional. He is a trained actor. I got to learn a lot from him, given that it's my first film. He was always in his character as Lenny, the moment he stepped outside his van.”
The 37-year-old star will be seen in "Blackout," which also stars Mouni Roy, Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil Grover, and Chhaya Kadam. She will play a "different character."
Bhavsar said,"He is an actor who comes with a lot of hard work and homework before coming on set. He is a director's delight. In 'Blackout', the audience will see Vikrant as a completely different character.”
The director said,"He has not played anything like this. He didn't shy away, he has gone all out to give the best."
With the television series "Dhoom Machaao Dhoom," Vikrant made his acting debut. "Balika Vadhu" brought him more attention. After that, he turned to movies, making his Bollywood debut in "Lootera," which starred Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh.
'12th Fail', a sleeper success that ended Vikrant's breakthrough performance, helped him become a major celebrity in 2023.
Jio Studios presents "Blackout" in collaboration with 11:11 Productions.
'Blackout', which is produced by Niraj Kothari under 11:11 Productions and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios, is scheduled to debut on Jio Cinema on June 7.
