After the 15 August (2012) slot has been left vacant with the 3D format of Sholay being deferred to a later date, YRF has confirmed that Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger will release on Independence day this year.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on 13 August, Monday. A romantic thriller, Ek Tha Tiger, produced by Aditya Chopra has been directed by Kabir Khan.
Salman-Katrina will be seen together on the screen after four years. Their last film together was 2008 release Yuvvraaj.
