MUMBAI: Esha Deol is one of the most well known faces in the Hindi Film industry. Coming from an illustrious filmy family where her father is mega star Dharmendra and mother is Hindi cinema’s dream girl actress Hema Malini, Esha has filmy blue blood running through her veins. The actress was recently in the news for her separation with ex-husband Bharat Takhtani.

Recently, actress Karisma Kapoor surprised everyone when she revealed the correct way to pronounce her name. She stated that the correct way was Ka-rizz-ma. Looks like Esha has now said that the media has been pronouncing her name wrongly all this while. She revealed her name is pronounced as Ae-sha and not Ee-sha. She further said, “Aaj tak yeh topic chal raha hai (This is a never-ending topic). Esha means ‘divine’s beloved’. It is a Sanskrit word.”
Esha and Bharat tied the knot in 2012 and have two daughters. The couple recently divorced after 12 years of marriage.
