Exclusive! Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si Actor Amit Behl to be seen in Pratik Gandhi – Patralekha starrer film ‘Phule’

MUMBAI:  Amit Behl is currently seen in Star Plus show ‘Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si’ starring Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe. While he is performing and winning over hearts of the fans of the show with his performance, he has now bagged a new Bollywood film.

The actor is doing a film which is produced by Dancing Shiva Films titled ‘Phule’.

The movie is a period drama which showcases the journey of Savitribai and Jyotibai Phule. The movie also stars Pratik Gandhi, Patralekha and Vinay Pathak in pivotal roles. The movie has been shot at real locations all over Maharashtra.

Amit will be seen in a significant role.

For the uninitiated, Savitribai Phule is considered as the pioneer of fighting for women and girl’s rights in India. She along with Jyotiba together founded a school for them 1848. Savitribai fought for abolishing unfair and unequal treatment based on gender and caste system.
