Facebook rejects Preity Zinta

It’s been a while since you have heard anything about Preity Zinta. After her last film bombed at the box-office, Preity disappeared from public horizon. She even spent some time abroad recently. The actress, who however tweets regularly and stays in touch with her fans through the social networking site, received a jolt from the blue when she tried creating a fan page of herself on Facebook. The social networking site simply refused Preity from creating an account. And the reason was they thought it was an imposter trying to open a fan page in Preity’s name. The dimpled actress tweeted about her misery. “Trying 2get more tech savvy since most of U keep asking me 2join Facebook. Guess what? I tried & FB told me 2stop pretending 2 be PZ #wierd” Now looking at the number of fake profiles circulating in Facebook under the name of Preity Zinta (there are at least 10 in number) we think Facebook was justified in declining the request although it was from the real owner herself. May be Preity should pay a courtesy visit to Facebook’s office to sort things out. The actress also opened a new account in Instagram and was soon found asking for help here too. “Ok.. Managed 2join instagram today but besides loading a photo I'm kinda stuck. What else can I do on it? Share videos? Any advise folks ?” Well, looks like Preity really has a lot of free time to blog and tweet these days.
