MUMBAI: Farah Khan Kunder is best known for directing films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, and is also an acclaimed choreographer. She has also turned an actor in the past for the movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi where she played the female lead opposite Boman Irani.

Farah Khan entered the Hindi film industry as a choreographer and has worked with countless big names of the industry. She has also judged a lot of reality shows and is currently a judge in Sony TV’s dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa season 11.

Majorly known for her choreographies, she has also turned a director in the past and the audience always loved her movies.

In a conversation with a well-known media outlet, Farah Khan was asked about the song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from her movie Om Shanti Om which is now remembered as an epic song for the kind of star power it has.

While giving insights about the making of the song, Farah Khan gave out a solid fact about the song and said, “Uska jo har ek costume tha na, woh koi na koi actor ne 70s ki movies mein pehna hai. Humne koi original costume banaya nahi hai. Manish ne thoda usko tweak kiya aur humare paas ek pura mood-board hota tha aur jo Shah Rukh ne woh blue color wala pehna tha, that Rajesh Khanna had worn I think in Aashiq. Aur who jo check coat usne pehna tha in ‘Aankho mein teri’ has been worn by Rishi Kapoor has worn in Rafuchakkar. Deepika ka bhi saare outfits the, koi na heroine ne, ya aruna irani, ya Leena Chandavarkar, ya kisi na kisi ne pehna hai 70s ki movie mein se.”
