MUMBAI: Zoya Akhtar, who directed the hit film Gully Boy, has received a warm birthday wish from her brother Farhan Akhtar.
Well, recently, it was revealed that Gully Boy has emerged as India’s official entry for the upcoming edition of Academy Awards AKA Oscars 2020. And today, on the filmmaker’s 47th birthday, Farhan’s birthday wish revolved around the same topic.
The Sky Is Pink actor took to his Instagram account and wrote an adorable note. The post shared by Farhan appeared to be a throwback picture from the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s 2009 film, Luck by Chance. It featured the sibling duo posing alongside each other. While the filmmaker showed her wide grin, Farhan was busy staring at her. He captioned the same as, “Happy birthday @zoieakhtar .. may you get all that your heart desires. Bas Oscar le aana .. Love you.”
