MUMBAI: Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have always been open about their relationship and have never shied away from flaunting their love for each other in public. The couple was to tie the knot this year in April. However, it was postponed due to the pandemic and lockdown.

While their love story looks just out of a fairy tale, did you know that Ali Fazal took a 10-minute after he proposed to Richa Chadha? Yes, you read it right! In an interview with a news publication, Richa reportedly revealed that Ali had planned a romantic dinner on a secluded island in the Maldives. Richa thought that it was for her birthday and didn't suspect a thing. However, when they were sipping on champagne, the actor spontaneously asked her to marry him.
Elaborating more on the same, she added that he didn't go down on his knee, nor did he have a ring, but that's alright. She also added that he was so stressed about the proposal that after that, he took a 10-minute nap on the sand.
