MUMBAI : Sequels like Heropanti 2, Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 and Ek Villain Returns failed to make a mark at the box office this year, but we had Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which did extremely well at the ticket windows. Now, everyone has their eyes on Drishyam 2, but to be honest, the buzz about the movie is not that great, and it totally depends on word of mouth and reviews. Also, we cannot ignore the fact that all the remakes this year have proved to be disasters at the box office.

Hera Pheri 3
Just today Paresh Rawal confirmed that Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Hera Pheri 3. The movie is not yet officially announced, but Kartik’s fans and moviegoers are super excited about it. However, Akshay Kumar’s fans are upset as Kartik might replace him in the third installment of the franchise just like the young actor did in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Tiger 3
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi starrer Tiger 3 was slated to release on Eid next year, but it has been postponed to Diwali 2023. As the first two installments of the Tiger franchise had done extremely well, moviegoers have high expectations from Tiger 3.
Dream Girl 2
Ayushmann Khurrana’s career is going through a rough phase right now. Though he has ‘An Action Hero’ lined up, everyone is expecting that he will bounce back with Dream Girl 2, which will release in June next year.

Aashiqui 3
It looks like Kartik Aaryan will soon become the sequel expert. Not just Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Hera Pheri 3, the actor will also be seen in Aashiqui 3. Aashiqui is a musical-romantic franchise and it will totally be a different genre for the actor.
OMG 2
While Akshay Kumar’s films have not been doing well at the box office lately, moviegoers are waiting for OMG 2 as the first part of the film was damn good. The sequel also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
