MUMBAI: Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai fame Aasif Sheik shares a great bond with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Aasif Sheikh is one of these gifted actors of the TV industry and he has created a mark for himself among the countless experienced actors.

Asif and Salman were seen together in films like Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, and even 2019's Bharat. The duo have been pals for over 20 years. Between the two, nothing has changed. In fact, during their early years together, Salman gave Aasif a nickname, which he still uses to taunt him.

The Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actor confessed to The Moi Blog YouTube channel that Bhaijaan calls him ‘Sukhandi' during a talk. Sukhandi, for those who don't know, is a slang term for slim individuals. According to Aasif, Salman believes Aasif's slender frame hasn't changed much over the years.

A report by Times of India also claimed that Aasif Sheikh and Salman were friends for a long time. Aasif had said, “There are times when we don’t meet for months but whenever we meet we are on the same page. I really really appreciate Salman as he got me a couple of good films when I was going through a very rough phase. It’s a great friendship between Salman and me”.

The actor also mentioned that his friendship with Salman Khan goes a long long way. It was the time when Salman’s first film Biwi Ho Toh Aisi and my film Yaara Dildara were released. Since that time we have been friends.
