Holiday has nothing to do with Pakistan or cross border terrorism - Akshay Kumar

It's a common occurrence in Bollywood to bash Pakistan through movies that revolve around terrorism. However, Holiday chooses to tread a different path. In a departure from the usual course, Holiday has omitted any reference to Pakistan. Nowhere in the movie is Pakistan mentioned as the origin of terror. Commenting on the same, Akshay Kumar told us, "We don't deal with problems from across the border. This is not about cross-border terrorism. We haven't referred to Pakistan or any country. We don't have the right to do that. We have shown our own internal problems and how terrorism happens through sleeper cells. We haven't said that the sleeper cells have their source in Pakistan." In a history of sorts, Holiday will also become the first movie based on an Indian soldier to be released in Pakistan after long. Sanjeev Lamba, the head honcho of Reliance Entertainment confirmed the same and said that they would be releasing the movie in 50 other countries as well. Well, let's wait and see how the movie fares in our neighboring country.
