MUMBAI: Actor Abhay Joshi who was seen in films like Karthik Calling Karthik and Raat Akeli Hai talks will be seen as a protagonist in Om Prakash Zindabad alongside Om Puri which is releasing on 18th December.
On talking about his role and the film’s satire he says, "I'm playing a innocent man whose driving force and the only motivation in life is to buy Hero Splendor. He has a very small ambition to show off in the society and have a good reputation in society. Film is a political satire based in Lucknow. It deals with how he gets a money of compensation which is a government policy as to give compensation to a rape victim."
On talking about his working experience with Om Puri he adds, "My experience with Om ji was like a training session for me. I used to get inspired by Om Puri's performance. He is still my idol and my senior in NSD. He was so humble and it was a dream to work with him. I still aspire to become like him. Jagdeep sir was very comfortable to work with. His style was very unique and amazing."
