After his latest film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag turned out to be a stupendous hit, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all excited for his next project.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been exempted from Entertainment tax in as many as six states in the country including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
Just yesterday, we reported that that Mehra had signed Harshvardhan Kapoor for his ambitious film Mirza Sahiban. Now the news is that Mehra has decided to cast Imran Khan in a yet-unnamed adventure thriller.
According to a source, Mehra’s film with Imran would be based on George Lucas’s character Indiana Jones while the story’s theme would feature the discovery of submerged city of Dwarka.
For those who are unaware, Dwarka was located near the site of the current city of Dwarka in Gujarat but was eventually deserted and submerged into the sea. The site was discovered by a team from the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) in December 2000 and investigated for six months with acoustic techniques.
Now, it seems that the film that would be full of adventure would be one of the much awaited projects of 2014.
