MUMBAI: It is almost two years since the actor has left for his heavenly abode after a battle with cancer. Irrfan was well known for his acting skills which seemed to come naturally to him. He was a powerhouse performer where his acting was loved by fans all-round the globe. As today is the late legendary actor’s birth anniversary, we bring you some of his power-packed dialogues that set the silver screen on fire.
1) “Mohabbat Hai Is Liye Jaane Diya ... Zidd Hoti Toh Baahon Mein Hoti.”
The dialogue is from the movie Jazbaa which released in 2015. Irrfan was seen along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the film. In the film, Irrfan played the character of an inspector whereas Aishwarya was seen in a lawyer’s role who was a single mother. The film revolved around Aishwarya’s daughter getting kidnapped.

2) Ye Sheher Humein Jitna Deta Hai, Badle Mein Kahin Zyada Humse Le Lete Hai.
The famous dialogue is from the movie Life In A Metro which released in 2007. The movie revolves around nine characters that are connected by the people they know. It shows how they learn the true meaning of love, go through heartbreaks, and go along the path of life.
3) "Hamari toh gaali par bhi taali parti hai."
The iconic dialogue is from the movie Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns which released in 2013. The movie was not a commercial hit but Irrfan's role as Indrajeet Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiyya received much positive response from the audience and critics.
4) “Death Aur Shit.... Ye Do Cheeze Kisi Ko Bhi, Kahin Bhi, Kabhi Bhi Aa Sakti Hai.”
The iconic dialogue is from the 2015 hit comedy-drama Piku that starred Irrfan with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Irrfan played the character of Rana Chaudhary, a businessman who brings respite and stability to the protagonist’s life.
5) “Aadmi Ka Sapna Toot Jata Hai Na, Toh Aadmi Khatam Ho Jata Hai.”
The dialogue is from Irrfan Khan’s last film Angrezi Medium that starred Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. In the film, Irrfan played the character of Radhika’s father who did everything to fulfill his daughter’s dream of going to London to study.
