MUMBAI : Karan Arjun marks 30 years and on this occasion, Rakesh Roshan is all set to re-release the first movie that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together. Karan Arjun was a movie that really made a place in people’s heart and mind and with the announcement of Karan Arjun, the makers have once again prepared to cast their spell on audience.

Along with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features the power-packed ensemble of Rakhee, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni and Amrish Puri.

Karan Arjun will be released on 22nd November, 2024. The movie will be re-released globally on the same date. This movie will become the largest re-release in India with an International re-release too.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Rakesh Roshan revealed some interesting facts about the movie and how it was rejected by distributors.

Rakesh Roshan revealed, “Jab maine liya unko (Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan), toh mere do distributors the uss picture mein unn dono ne chhod diya ke aapne romantic heroes ko le liya hai aur aap action film bana rahe hai but confidence tha ke main Shah Rukh ke saath kaam kar chuka the King Uncle mein, I knew his potential. And Salman Khan ke maine aankhon mein ek baat dekhi thi, he speaks a lot through his eyes. And he’s got a good physique. Humne establish kar diya ke Shah Rukh Bhi gulel chalata hai Ghode pe, hasi mazak mein, bohot acha hai. Phir jab who action karte hai na toh who believable ho gaya. Aur uss waqt, jo action hero nahi the, maine unko action hero banaya. Aur aaj who dono action heroes hai.”

Karan Arjun performed so well at the box office that it became one of the highest-grossing films of 1995. This is because the audience loved the movie for its thrilling action sequences, emotional depth, and the unforgettable chemistry between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Talking about the plot, it is based on reincarnation and revenge, and the story of two brothers, Karan and Arjun, who are separated due to a family feud. Fate reunites them in their next lives as they seek justice and redemption.
