Karan Johar stands by Rhea Pillai; asks media to be sensitive

Rhea Pillai is undoubtedly going through some very tough times in her personal life with messy details of her splitsville with Leander Paes going public. While there is enough and equal mud-slinging happening from both Rhea and Leander’s side, with each party accusing one another of dirty and rotten things, Rhea seems to have found some much needed support and warmth from her friends in Bollywood especially Gauri Khan and Karan Johar who vouch for her innocence. Karan who has known Rhea since long was quite vocal in his support for his good friend. Calling Rhea as a loving and loyal person, the acclaimed film-maker even took to Twitter to express his solidarity. “Rhea is the most loving, loyal and wonderful friend, mother and partner. I have known her for over 2 decades.” Karan also expressed his disappointment at media for its reporting on the Leander-Rhea saga. Terming it unwarranted, Karan requested media to exercise sensitivity while reporting. “The recent reportage is unwarranted. Sad that sometimes you have to stand and defend goodness. I appreciate the media's need to report. I wish it came with a little sensitivity.” Well, Karan when media reports, we are duty bound to show what happens on either side of the fence and at times the grass on the other end may not exactly be greener.
