MUMBAI: Dostana is a vibrant, fun-filled Bollywood rom-com where two men, played by Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, pretend to be a gay couple to rent an apartment—only to fall for the same girl, played by Priyanka Chopra. Packed with humor, glamor, and unexpected twists, it’s a wildly entertaining ride!
The movie was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar. Now, Karan Johar is coming back with Dostana 2 and reportedly, we will get to see Vikrant Massey and Lakshya. As a twist, Dostana 2 will be released directly on Netflix.

Vikrant Massey, majorly recognized for his recent 2 films, 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report, Vikrant has gained a huge fan base for his amazing performances over the years. Vikrant started his acting journey first in the TV industry with the 2007 Disney show ‘Dhoom Machaao Dhoom’.
Talking about TV debut, Lakshya also made his acting debut with the 2015 MTV show Warrior High. He was then seen in the Sony TV show Porus, after which the actor made an explosive big screen debut with ‘Kill’, an action movie that was said to be 2023's most brutal action movie.
Both Vikrant and Lakshya, coming from TV industry, making their way to the Hindi movie industry, are two promising actors who have proved their mettle in their own ways. It’ll be interesting to see how Dostana 2 turns out to be.
