Khel Khel Mein: Akshay Kumar’s fans say, “It will definitely be compared with Hera Pheri 3”

MUMBAI:Akshay Kumar has been in the news for the past few days because of Hera Pheri 3. Kartik Aaryan has been roped in to star in Hera Pheri 3 and Akki decided to leave the project as he was not happy with the script of the film. The actor’s fans were upset with him for opting out of Hera Pheri 3, however, now reportedly, Akki is going to star in a film titled Khel Khel Mein which will also star Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles.

The official announcement of the film is not yet made. But, the actor’s fans are happy about it and also a bit worried as Khel Khel Mein might get compared to Hera Pheri 3. Check out the tweets below…

Well, when we heard the title Khel Khel Mein it took us back to 1975. A movie titled Khel Khel Mein starring Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, and Rakesh Roshan was released in 1975. 

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar starrer Khiladi was said to be loosely based on Khel Khel Mein.

Talking about Akshay’s other movies, the actor has many films lined up. He will be seen in Selfiee, Oh My God 2, Soorarai Pottru remake, Capsule Gill, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. His next release will be Selfiee which is slated to release on 24th February next year. The movie, which is directed by Raj Mehta, is a remake of the Malayalam film Driving License. It also stars Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty.
