MUMBAI : Famed for his roles in Quentin Tarantino movies including Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill: Volume 1, and Volume 2, actor Michael Madsen was arrested in Malibu on suspicion of domestic assault after he and his wife, DeAnna Madsen, had "a disagreement." Authorities based at the Malibu Sheriff’s Station responded to a call and the 66-year-old actor was arrested for a domestic battery misdemeanor under Penal Code 243(e)(1) of the US law, which means force or violence was allegedly used against a cohabitant, reports Variety.
Madsen’s representative said, “It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both.”
Variety reports that the actor posted a $20,000 bond and is now out of custody. In Ocho Rios, Jamaica, in 1996, Michael Madsen wed DeAnna Morgan during a sabbatical from filming Donnie Brasco. Hudson, Hudson Jr., Hudson, and Kalvin were their three sons. January 2022 saw the suicide death of Hudson. In Quentin Tarantino's 1992 breakthrough movie Reservoir Dogs, the actor made a big impression as Mr. Blonde, the live-wire criminal who famously danced to Stealer Wheel's Stuck in the Middle With You while dismembering a police officer who was taken hostage after a botched heist.
Throughout his career, Madsen has consistently worked in the genre; some of his credits include Wyatt Earp, Iguana, Mulholland Falls, Sin City, Donnie Brasco, and Thelma and Louise. He has been consistently employed on multiple direct-to-video projects in the past few years.
