MUMBAI: At a recent fashion event, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor showed no signs of reconciliation, seemingly confirming the speculations of their breakup. Malaika and Arjun, the subject of breaking rumors, were seen sitting far apart in a video that paparazzi posted. The video showed Malaika and Arjun remaining apart, which was a sharp contrast to how close they usually were at public gatherings.

Malaika was once seen walking by Arjun while he was taking a photo with a fan. Malaika did not acknowledge Arjun, despite his kind gesture of softly placing his hand behind her to protect her from the crowd. She confirmed the breakup rumours by continuing forward without turning to face Arjun.
The video has left fans buzzing with speculation about the status of their relationship. Many believe that the lack of interaction and the evident distance between them are clear signs of a breakup. However, it remains unclear whether the couple left the venue together or interacted at any point during the event. One user commented, “Things seem to have ended between the two.” Another one wrote, “This means they have broken up.” A third user said, “They are already going through a lot in their life. The least we can do is stop judging and focusing on such things just to make them feel comfortable.”
Last month, Malaika left her fans concerned after she skipped Arjun’s midnight birthday celebration at his Juhu residence. She didn’t wish him on social media either, which led to speculation about their possible breakup.
Amid continuous rumours about her "on-off relationship" with Arjun, Malaika recently discussed how toxic the internet can be.
“I have somehow built a mechanism — or shield, I would say — around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore,” Malaika told the popular entertainment outlet. “I’ve insulated myself from it. Whether it’s people, a work environment, social media or trolls. The minute I feel that energy, I recoil instantly. It’s something I’ve learned to do over time. It would get to me earlier and I would lose sleep over it. I’d be lying if I said things don’t affect me at all — I’m human too and so I will cry, break down and have all the emotions associated with being trolled. But you’ll never see that in public.”
“I’ll never give up on the idea of true love, no matter what. I’m a typical Scorpio that way, so I’ll fight for love till the very end — but I’m also very realistic and know where to draw the line,” she added.
