Averred Milind, himself a great devotee of Sai Baba, “It makes all the more challenging for me to play the revered saint, because over the years, many films have been made on him and several actors have played the lead. Interestingly, Milind’s great grandfather N.V.Gunaji has written a book titled Sai Charitra which is kept in the Sai Sansthan in Shirdi.
The film, being made under the banner of Guru Sai Films International, has been written and directed by Satya Prakash who has also written the lyrics. The filmmaker is a great devotee of Sai Baba and has been distributing baba’s bibhuti since the last 20 years in London.
Besides Milind, the film also stars Anang Desai, Gajendra Chauhan, Ashalata, Anil Dhawan, Adi Irani, Kiran Kumar etc.
The film, being currently shot in Film city, is approximately 70 per cent complete.
