Over a few days now, Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and his family is hitting the headlines for being targeted with the allegations of harassment by his estranged wife Shalini Talwar.

MUMBAI: Hridesh Singh aka Yo Yo Honey Singh's personal life has always been a point of discussion. Earlier, when the singer went MIA, it was reported that he got into drugs and drinking and hence, he has been away from the showbiz world. But the singer returned with a bang after a gap of two years and left everyone stunned with his music. While he was giving back-to-back hits, his name again grabbed eyeballs when his wife Shalini Talwar filed domestic violence against him in Delhi's Tis Hazari Court.

The complaint has been lodged under the 'Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act'. The case was registered on Tuesday, August 3, before Ms Tania Singh, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. Post which, in several media interactions and posts, Shalini made several allegations against the singer and even his family.

Then after three days, Honey Singh took to his social media handle and shared a long note, explaining the situation and how he is "deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations.".

Long before Shalini filed a complaint against the singer, Honey Singh was posting love-filled notes for his wife. For the unversed, Shalini and Yo Yo Honey Singh got married in 2012 and in 2014, the singer introduced her to the world. The singer still has the love-filled posts that he dedicated to his wife on social media and today, we are taking a look at them.

A part of Honey Singh's social media post reads, "I am deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against me and my family by my companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, & negative media coverage in general".
