MUMBAI : The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has left a huge impact in people’s lives, and continues to do so even today with his amazing contribution to the Bollywood film industry. He has one of the biggest fan followings among Indian celebrities, who are very loyal and dedicated supporters of the actor. However, there are some things about the superstar that even his most loyal fans may not know about. So let us dive into some of these lesser-known facts about the actor.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's first home
After the couple tied the knot, their first home in which they stayed together was apparently a run-down hut in a chawl.
Gauri Khan told Shah Rukh to reject his first two scripts
King Khan was desperate to take his wife out of the chawl and into a better home. Initially, while he was struggling with work, he finally managed to land his first big break; in fact, it was two movies, not one. Shah Rukh blindly accepted them and rushed home to show his wife the signing amount of ₹5 lakh (for both). Upon hearing this, Gauri Khan first asked him if he had read the scripts, which he had not. He immediately began reading them and was disappointed. Calmly, Gauri reassured him that she had already spent so much time in the chawl, she could definitely manage for some more time. So, the actor promptly returned the signing amount. If Gauri's better sense hadn't prevailed, imagine how different SRK's career may have turned out.
