MUMBAI: Neena Gupta and daughter Masaba Gupta are all set to entertain the fans with their series Masaba Masaba. The interesting trailer of the Netflix series released recently and the mother-daughter duo is just killing it. On the other hand, Neena Gupta and daughter Masaba have been setting #goals for long now, with almost anything they do. As Neena Gupta has raised daughter Masaba as a single mother, the Badhai Ho actress opens up about raising daughter and being a single mother. During the interview, Neena also mentioned how she knows daughter Masaba has suffered and shares a lot more.

Earlier in January, speaking with Mumbai Mirror, actress Neena Gupta mentioned how she would not have a child outside marriage because she knew Masaba suffered a lot. Talking about the same, the Badhaai Ho actress said, “I would not have a child outside marriage. Every child needs both parents. I was always honest with Masaba, so it did not affect our relationship, but I know she suffered.”
Now, as Neena Gupta is gearing up for the premiere of her daughter’s show Masaba Masaba, the National-Award-winning actress opened up about how she’d never have married her husband Vivek Mehra had he not gotten along with daughter Masaba Gupta. Speaking with Pinkvilla, Neena Gupta said, “If my husband didn’t like Masaba or if he was the kind who would never get along with her, I’d never get married to him. No matter how much I love or lust a man, I wouldn’t have ever decided to be in a relationship with anyone if they had a problem with my daughter. It’s very important that she likes who I’m with and vice versa.”
Neena Gupta then went on to share some details about her bond with her daughter. Opening about the same, the Badhai Ho actress said, “We both are very normal mother and daughter. We advise each other most of the time.” As the actress mentioned how daughter Masaba and she are very normal and advice each other, she added, “But are we are our own persons and decide what we want to do on our own. But we are always open to each other’s thoughts.”
Meanwhile, Neena Gupta and Masaba Gupta’s series Masaba Masaba begins streaming on the OTT platform Netflix from August 28 onwards.
