MUMBAI: The actor Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha welcomed a newborn daughter into the world recently and Varun Dhawan is a proud father. While congratulations from fans, fraternity members, and well-wishers are flooding in, we delved a little further and found that Varun had already expressed his desire to have a daughter someday.

Varun sat on the same couch as Alia Bhatt, revealed his intention to have a baby girl at some point in the future on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 5. While mentioning a few actors in a rapid-fire round, Karan questioned Varun, “What do the following have that you don’t?” When the filmmaker mentioned Shahid Kapoor’s name, he shared, He has a baby girl. I don’t want his baby girl. I want my own.” He added, “Shahid, your child is yours. I don’t want your child,” he added.

He further spoke about having a child of his own someday and added, “I do wanna get married. I wanna have babies, actually. I want to have a child. I love children, and I wanna have my own little one.”

It is well known that Varun and Natasha were childhood sweethearts who dated for a long time before getting married on January 24, 2021, in front of their loved ones.

It wasn't an easy path for Varun to win Natasha's heart. During an open discussion on Kareena Kapoor Khan's radio show, Varun revealed the shocking information that Natasha had turned down his proposal more than once.

The Bollywood hitmaker, who is well-known for his appearances in films, talked candidly about their long friendship that developed into love, “The first time I met Natasha was in the sixth standard. We were friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. We were very close friends, Varun revealed during the interview. Recalling their early school days, he mentioned a memorable encounter on the basketball court, saying, I remember seeing her, and, when I saw her that day, I felt like I fell in love with her,” he said.
