MUMBAI: Andhadhun, co-written and directed by Sriram Raghavan, was loved by the audience. The movie went to win the hearts of viewers for a long period of time and was appreciated for its superb storytelling, brilliant screenplay, and the twists and turns.
Well, we all know that Sriram Raghavan is a superb storyteller, and when it comes to thriller movies he is the best. The acting of the leads was also much appreciated by fans all over, especially that of Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu in a never seen before avatar.
The movie also won three National Film Awards: Best Feature Film in Hindi, Best Actor for Khurrana, and Best Screenplay.
But did you know that Ayushmann was not the first choice of the director for this role? Before him, the movie went to Harshvardhan Kapoor.

Yes, you read it right. Harshvardhan was offered the role. However, he couldn’t take it up for the reasons best known to him.

Andhadhun released in 2018 and tells the story of a blind piano player who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a former film actor. It is currently being remade in Telugu, with Nithiin in the lead role, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.
