Acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj emerged as the most feted director last year with Haider. The filmmaker who is known for working at his own slow pace was rumoured to have been working on Mary Evans' biopic famously called Fearless Nadia. Infact, reports also suggested that Vishal had roped in Deepika Padukone to play the title role.
However, Vishal Bhardwaj rubbished these rumours yesterday. "It's is not true that I have signed Deepika Padukone. Infact I am not doing Fearless Nadia. I don't know where these rumours came from."
Vishal did however agree that he is interested in directing Hrithik and have initiated talks with the handsome actor. "Yes, I am in touch with Hrithik and we are in talks to work together in a movie. We are still in the early stages."
It may well be remembered that Vishal's Haider and Hrithik's Bang Bang had a same day release with the latter's commercial movie winning hands down.
With Vishal agreeing to direct Hrithik, one can be rest assured of yet another riveting drama. Wonder if would be a Shakespearean tragedy again this time as well.
