Not Rajkumar Rao but Vicky Kaushal was the first choice for the movie Stree

MUMBAI: Rajkumar Rao is riding on success. All his latest movies have done well at the box office. The ace actor starred in Stree, Trapped, and Fanney Khan last year. He took home a lot of awards for his performance in Stree, and the movie is considered as one of the most successful movies of the year 2018.

But did you know that Rajkumar wasn’t the first choice for the movie? The makers had approached Vicky Kaushal, who refused the movie as he didn’t have the dates and was shooting for Manmarziyaan. Vicky had said that he had loved the script, but owing to date issues, he couldn’t do the movie and that’s how Rajkumar came into the picture.

Well, now that the movie has released, one can’t imagine anyone than Rajkumar playing the protagonist.
